In Cold Blood book cover

In Cold Blood is the title of a penguin book wrote about a true story based on a murder. This was an entry into the book cover competition. It is my take on the book and how I perceived it to be.

This idea for the book cover came from this mock up. By doing this it enabled me to refine my design looking further into the book itself. I was able to give it more depth. Drawing you in through the typography really involves you into the depth of the cover, contain mystery and excitement.
